Four years ago, a dream to bring genuine specialty coffee culture to Nanded set something in motion — a place built not just on great food, but on community, warmth, and the belief that every guest deserves more than a meal. Today, that dream has a new name and a bigger kitchen.
When Shivam Patil opened The Cottage Coffee, the goal was clear: create the first truly coffee-oriented family destination in Nanded. At a time when the city had few places dedicated to the art of specialty brewing, The Cottage Coffee stood apart — offering meticulously crafted beverages in an inviting, open-air garden-style setting unlike anything else around.
The outdoor space became legendary quickly. With ambient lighting, lush greenery, and generous open-sky seating, it wasn't just a café — it was a destination. Students made it their second classroom, families their Sunday morning ritual, couples their favourite corner, and professionals their quiet escape. The Cottage Coffee welcomed them all.
That community wasn't built by accident. It was earned — cup by cup, conversation by conversation — over four years of sincere hospitality and an unwavering commitment to quality.
In December 2025, we took everything we had built over four years and elevated it. The transformation from The Cottage Coffee to OvenBerries wasn't a departure — it was a natural next step for a place that had always been about more than just a cup of coffee.
Today, OvenBerries is a full Italian-style fusion restaurant — offering wood-fired pizzas, handcrafted continental dishes, freshly baked artisanal goods from our in-house bakehouse, and of course, the specialty coffee that built our reputation. All served in the same beautiful open-sky space that Nanded has come to love.
